Huge Phone once Access Point and Name was set
When we received this phone from Amazon, my daughter was thrilled. Phone was great, BUT she could not send or receive messages with photos. Went to T-Mobile and prostrate several hours with their people trying to determine the problem and fix it. The problem: the phone would not connect to a information (2G/3G) network. In the end, the T-Mobile folks declared that the phone was defective. We returned the phone through Amazon (which worked very smoothly and very soon) and purchased another DEFY through a different vendor on Amazon, and when it arrived, it had the same problem. After deciding that the good chance of two separate vendors selling defective phones was unlikely, I did some "research" on my own and discovered that the tangible problem was that the APN was not setup in the phone (actually found the settings on T-Mobile's web site). After inputting those settings, the phone works like a mesmerize!My only complaint about the phone is that Motorola, the vendor, or whoever is...

Horrifying
When, the phone first here I was quite surprised by the size of the phone. The phone is really really thin and feels as if it ways no more than a lb or two. But, it's a very first-rate phone; it had not one scratch on it and came with everything that a phone out of a regular store would have. I have had this phone since January of 2011 and have not got one good enough on the screen so far. I dropped it in water on multiple occasions and the phone still works perfectly. Although, every tempo it landed it water the phone acted unresponsive until I dried the water off of it and then it worked like a grace. My only complaint about this phone is that it is a Motorola phone and Motorola updates their phones really tardy in the game or does not at all. So, the phone came with android 2.1 and the phone was very unstable, froze all while, and just made me want to throw it at the wall, but after the phone received android 2.2 it ran a lot raise and was not as glitchy. It was the Defeat of times; I was the Worst of times. The phone is fine, and it looks great, and functions well.But there were some issues...... The box said Innocent. I got a black phone, which was OK, because it is in a case and the color cannot be seen anyway. The phone said it was unlocked. I wanted that, and not a send down-broken phone. The phone is indeed locked, and cannot be used on any other network besides AT&T. If I switch carriers, I must suit to unlock it myself, or jail break it myself. This is what I wanted to avoid. It was not clear that the phone was refurbished. In to be sure, I would categorize it as misleading in that the word was never used in the ENTIRE ad, and should have been. Given the price that I paid (over $400), I was well under the issue that I was indeed getting a new phone. Anyplace else I looked at had them to $100 less. I think that the seller misuses unlocked when it should be fine that...

countless phone for a great price
This phone is unusually good. The screen is capacitive, unlike the previous Samsung star, so it's really effortless to use. The music player is great, and the phone supports multi-tasking (though it drags the act down a bit). Perhaps my favorite feature about this phone is the WiFi. For those of you who don't have a data plan, and don't plan on getting one for the unborn, the WiFi is a really nice touch because it allows you to browse the internet without being forced in a 2-year compact. Most of the phone that have wifi are smartphone, which carriers are requiring a data plan with, but this phone is a quirk phone. wifi is a great "feature" on a "dumbphone". The only problem I have with this phone is the annoying QWERTY keypad while texting. The keys are definitely small, and I frequently press the "back" key instead of the "backspace" key. I'm getting used to it though, and it's also helpful that this phone has a mug that is similar to android's "swype", where you slide your...

the menu knob didn't work after three months later, but the seller refused to fix it even they said it's US warranty in the head. i tried to contact the Samsung custom service to fix it, but they said my cellphone is not sold in US and it do not have the bond. therefore, i don't recommend to buy this cell phone, there are at least one year warranty for any electronics if you buy it locally.

It is a monstrous price for a samsung note alike phone. It is probably not as fast as note, and phone call importance is slightly not as good as samsung. But, you have a big beautiful screen phone tablet in your hand for less than $200. How can you Nautical tack that?By the way, who wants to take a phone and a tablet and charger all over places? Apple still did not figure out this by today! No reasonableness of everyone is going for samsung now! I forgot to mention that I hate apple iphone. Bearing in mind unlocked is not a favorable thing by manufacturers, you're most likely not going to find an unlocked phone at a brick and mortar inventory. If you don't want to go the ebay route then try craigslist.
